Never. Zumba Beauty™ is a cruelty-free brand. We never test products or ingredients on animals.

Are Zumba Beauty™ products vegan?

Zumba Beauty™ products are cruelty-free and never test on animals, nor do we allow suppliers to conduct animal testing on our behalf. While the majority of our products are vegan, a handful of our products may contain ingredients of animal origin, such as lanolin, beeswax, keratin or collagen. For information on specific products, please refer to the Ingredients tab on the product pages.

Zumba Beauty™ products are paraben-free (and phthalate-free, too).

What is the difference between PAO and expiration date?

PAO stands for “period after opening,” and is represented by an icon on the packaging with a number that indicates how many months the product will be fresh after opening. If a product has a PAO of 12, that means it should be used within 12 months of opening. Products marked with an expiration date indicate when the product should stop being used, regardless of whether it has been opened.

Shelf life ranges by product. Our quality control team continues to test batches and if they receive positive testing data, they will extend shelf life of products and communicate the updated information on the product pages of our website. We seek to ensure Zumba Beauty™clients only receive fresh, high-quality product.
